For Christmas this year we will be running a half program expecting to finish at about 7-7.30pm, after this there will be a free sausage sizzle for the athletes and Santa will be popping in. If we do get washed out please still come down as the BBQ and Santa will still be going ahead.

| Name: Centre Championships 2009 |
Centre Championships went extremely well this season with quite a few parents making a special mention on how well they thought it went, thanks for your feedback it's appreciated. Congratulations to all our athletes on their efforts and their behaviour and we hoped you enjoyed your day. I would like to post a thank you to all our visiting officials for coming along, with out them the day would not have went so smoothly....Julie from Blacktown LAC, Phill from Blacktown LAC, Darryl from Doonside LAC, Felicity from Doonside LAC, Bob from Lethbridge Park LAC, Mark from Lethbridge Park LAC. And a thank you to ALL our Mount Druitt officials. We had some records broken that did not get mentioned: Josh U/15 Discus, Dejanee U/15 Triple Jump. Also a thank you to those parents who assisted, without your co-operation and assistance this day would not be possible. Another local gala day, this one get's a special mention in that all Tiny Tots get a trophy. We had 27 Athletes along for this event which was a record attendance for Mount Druitt. The weather was hot but wasn't to bad as we had the club gazebo, well done to all of our athletes on their efforts, a great day was had by all and I'm sure we will beat this record next year.

Another great day was had by all, we had 6 athletes who attended with most coming away with medals. Werrington Gala Day is a great local event and I would recommend anyone to come along. See you next year.

We had 7 Athletes attend this Gala Day, for those who have never been I suggest you give it a try next year this is a well run carnival and personally one of the things I like about this Gala Day is there are no heats just straight out finals so the day is not to long. A great day was had by all Parents and Athletes. Well done to our Athletes despite the miserable weather and congratulations to those Athletes who came away with medals. Hope to see you next year.

Being one of the smaller clubs it was great to see so many athletes registered for the Gala Day, we had 14 athletes competing on the day and well done to all of them on their efforts. We all sat together under the club gazebo cheering each other on and a great family day was had by all. With the Walks and Javelin starting at 11AM the night didn't go for as long as it has in the past which was welcomed so let’s hope Doonside keep this program going.
