Being involved excites your kids and makes them proud of their club and their family. At Mount Druitt  Little Athletics Centre we believe family is the base of our club and we hope to provide all participants with a fun, friendly and inspiring environment to attend each week.


Our club’s policy is that at least one parent must be in attendance at the field at all times while their children are competing at May Cowpe Reserve at Rooty Hill.

This is to ensure that we can obtain rapid action if anything was to occur with the athlete on competition nights as well as ensuring parents meet their responsibility as helpers on the night.

Please remember that we always require parents to assist to ensure our competition nights flow smoothly and to make it a shorter night.  All parents will be required to assist the age manager on a roster basis with the running of Friday night competition. (Obviously if you are already helping out regularly with timekeeping, place judging, canteen or other duties this will not apply).  Any Parent wishing to take up a permanent position will be issued as soon as possible a Mount Druitt Little Athletics Shirt and unlimited free coffee during Friday competition nights.

We will be enforcing this rule by checking on attendance of parents of competing athletes.  Any child found not to have a parent in attendance at the field will unfortunately be removed from the night’s competition.

Parents please remember that before entering your child into a Special Event (ie: Zone, Region, State and Centre Championships etc) you will be required to assist at these events on a roster system.  If you are unable or unwilling for any reason to assist at Mt Druitt’s rostered events you will jeopardizing your child’s entry into these events as well as awards/trophies.
